Tokyo Mew Mew New releases new trailer
Well, it’s time to bring out the cat power because Tokyo Mew Mew New trailer is finally out! Back in 2000s, the series didn’t run long, but its legacy still remains. And now the show is making a massive comeback and we are all here for it.

The upcoming TV anime series adaptation is based on manga created by Reiko Yoshida and Mia Ikumi, where the latter worked as the illustrator. Meanwhile, the series is about a girl who receives the power of a wildcat and ends up becoming a hero for the human race.
What does the trailer reveal?
The latest trailer gives us a in-depth look inside the Tokyo Mew Mew New world. And let’s not deny the fact that the overall vibe of the series looks absolutely pretty. We also see some familar faces and the soundtrack looks awesome. Additionally, the clip also features the track “Cat!! Shite Super Girls” by Snewthie.
Furthermore, we also get to see the new cast members like-
- Yuma Uchiha as Masaya Aoyama.
- Yusuke Shirai as Keiichiro Akasaka.
- Kaori Ishihara as Masha.
- Yuichi Nakamura as Ryo Shirogane.
These new characters will be joining the existing family including Yuki Tenma, Ryoko Juni, Rian Toda, Momoka Ishii and Mirai Hinata.
When is Tokyo Mew Mew New premiering?
According to the latest update, the series is all set to air on TV in July 2022. Takahiro Natori is directing the show and the credits for animation production goes to Yumeta Company and Graphinica.

The series originally kicked off in 2000 under Yoshida and Ikumi and ran for merely 3 years. However, it managed to create a huge impact which still lingers today. Thankfully, the legacy was taken forward and now the latest adaptation- Tokyo Mew Mew New give a new birth to the franchise for the upcoming generation.
