Tom Cruise is all set for some football
It seems our very own favourite action hero is ready to spread his charm in the world of football as well. The AFC Championship teaser is out and we see Tom Cruise and an exclusive footage from the upcoming movie “Top Gun: Maverick”.
The teaser ran before the game between Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals. “The Time is Now” is the title of the video.
Cruise is very much confident on the game
According to the Mission Impossible actor, the game is the absolute best and it has what it takes to be a top shooter. After a long wait, Paramount is finally releasing the sequel to 1986 hit movie “Top Gun” on May 27. This is arriving after the original came out before quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow were born.
Tom Cruise is well known for his action movies and his amazing stunts. Hence, it is safe to say the fans have high hopes on this much awaited sequel.
However, the Internet doesn’t seem as excited
After the major announcement, the news took over the Internet. Many people took to Twitter to express their opinion. But alas, the public wasn’t as excited as the channel or the franchise would have wanted them to be.
One unimpressed user could not understand the relation between Tom Cruise speaking about football. While another user was genuinely confused regarding why Tom Cruise made the move as it was quite random.

With reference to the retirement of star athlete Tom Brady, one fan made a statement that NFL is boring without him. Further extending the statement as a mocking joke, one user announced that Cruise will be replacing Brady in the league.
