The trending gender reveal parties are going quite famous these days.
In such parties parents to reveal the gender of their child’s gender with family and friends.
Des Moines, the capital city of Iowa one such party was taking place but turned hazardous instead.
A woman died this Saturday after being hit with shrapnel from gender reveal explosion. The cop said that the family members were on the way to announce their child’s gender using a pipe bomb.
Not only this, but other cases are also there where these cases have caused an accident and even death of people.
In 2017, Arizona’s gender reveals party involved triggered gunshot, though the target was a dry field having explosive material which explodes when shot.
The situation got out of control, because as the blue smoke rose and so the flames did which caused sawmill fire.
The fire covered more than 40,000 acres of land and 100 evacuations.
Also in 2018 one more hazardous situation took place in Australia where a car was triggered. Car’s tires skid over the pavement and smoke rose but due to sudden skidding the friction increased and the vehicle was on fire.
The concept of gender reveal came through a blog in 2008 when blogger Jenna karvunidis wrote about her unborn daughter. The couple adopted blue and pink colors to reveal the gender of their child over social media.
Though after coming across such situations Jenna has abandoned the concept of gender reveal.
