Gitanjali Rao Made History As TIME Magazine’s First-Ever Kid Of The Year!

Indian-American Gitanjali Rao is a young scientist and inventor who have done some groundbreaking work and has made history has been named by TIME magazine as the first-ever Kid of the Year. Here’s the Twitter post made by the official page of TIME Magazine.

 

Gitanjali Rao bagged such path-breaking big honor for her inspiring work using technology while tackling socially relevant issues ranging from cyberbullying, contaminated drinking water to opioid addiction as well.

Her work spoke for itself and she was selected from as many as 5,000 nominees until she went on to get featured as a first-ever kid of the year. Several celebrities have expressed their excitement about this iconic moment and took to Twitter to announce it.
