The Astronaut Album by Jin
South Korean Boy Band, BTS member Kim Seok-jin aka Jin will be releasing his first solo single album through BIG HIT MUSIC on 28th October this year. Jin has always been a talented member of BTS, but he has never had the chance to show off his true potential as a solo artist. “The Astronaut” is a chance for him to shine more, and it is sure to be a hit with fans.
Reveal of the Solo Debut
A free concert has been held last week where BTS performed in support of their country’s engagement in hosting the World Expo, 2030. Jin announced then that he is set to do his solo debut with collaboration but other than that, there isn’t any further news about the album with confirmation.
As per The Astronaut’s Promotion Schedule, there are concept photos and teasers to be released by next week, followed by the song itself the week after that. The Logo Trailer has been released on October 20.
Upcoming Military Service
On 17 October 2022, Big Hit released the ‘BTS military service implementation and future activity plan information’ announcement on Twitter. As Jin is the oldest member of the family and will be the first to join the military service, this solo debut might be his first yet last for the meantime until his return. He might head off to fulfill his duty as soon as the launch of ‘The Astronaut’ is set and done.

Therefore, Big Hit also said that Jin will initiate the process as soon as his schedule for his solo release is concluded at the end of October. It was further stated that Jin will then follow the enlistment procedure of the Korean government. Other members of the group plan to follow soon after and carry out their military service based on their own individual plan.
All over social media, the fans are really emotional and overwhelmed by this amazing BTS gang to be leaving away. Jin releasing his album right at this moment will sure be a mark and will bring it well out for the talent he has and the love & respect he earned by people.
