The 94th Academy Awards, announced to air on Sunday, March 27, 2022, and as everyone was speculating about who would be the hosts of the 94th Award ceremony, here we finally got their names. On Monday, the academy confirmed the host’s name.
This year Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Regina Hall got the chance to host the entertainment’s industry most renowned award function. Since 2011, it would be the first time where the three hosts present the show.
Academy approached several stars before they finalized their hosts and settled down with these three beauties. Jumanji starrer, Dwayne Johnson was also approached but declined, the offer then went to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, but he also missed the opportunity.
Trois producer, Will Packer, is producing this year’s awards ceremony, and bringing in hit comedy heavyweights like Schumer and Sykes will add a whole new flavour to the ceremony.
We can expect a pinch of humour in the ceremonial evening and in the entire show. However, it would be interesting to see how duties between this trio are divided.
