Queendom 2 star lineup is out- VIVIZ, LOONA, Brave Girls, WJSN, Kep1er and Hyolin CONFIRMED!

Queendom 2 is coming back with some amazing artists

Mnet made a recent announcement on Monday, February 21 regarding the popular  K-pop survival show “Queendom“. The second instalment on the show is coming back with an impressive line-up of artists and needless to say, people are quite excited about it.

The second season will go on till 10 weeks and will have around six girl groups.

The introduction of star-studded line-up has divided the audience as some of the girl bands just had a debut. And there has been some debate on the matter as well.

The confirmed participants for the 2nd season are LOONA, WJSN, Kep1er, Brave Girls, VIVIZ and solo artist Hyolin. The production team of the comeptitive show shared in a press statement that all 6 artists have reached the number 1 spot on various music programs. They further added that their unique personalities and talent will definitely entertain the audience.

VIVIZ, earlier known as GFRIEND, debuted this 2022 with their album “Beam of Prism”. Eunha, Umji and SinB are members of this group.

WJSN, aka Cosmic Girls, started off with 12 members in February 2016. But a 13th member, Yeonjung, stepped in around July 2016. Some of the popular works include “Save Me, Save You”, “Secret” and “As you Wish”.

Another 12-member group LOONA debuted in August 2018. The group is known for their popular hits like “Hi High”, “Butterfly” and “Why Not”.

Kep1er debuted this January 2022 and they were formed through the renowned reality show Girls Planet 999.

Brave Girls kicked off as a 5-member group but went through several changes throughout the years. The 4-member group rose to popularity again in 2021 with their track “Rollin”.

Former member of the group SISTAR, Hyolyn will be the only solo artist in Queendom 2. She is known for some hit tracks including “Say my name”, “Summer or Summer” and “Layin’ Low”.

When is Queendom Season 2 coming?

The first season of the show kicked off in August 2019. It received a lot of love and success and even had 2 spin-offs- Kingdom: Legendary War and Road to Kingdom. Both of these featured only boy groups.

The second season of Queendom is set to premiere on March 31.
