Every month, there is no shortage of new K-pop albums, which may be difficult for those trying to keep up with the new music. so we’ve compiled a list of the top five upcoming K-pop for August which you cannot miss.
5. Got7’s Jay B
Jay B, an H1GHR Songs artist, will release new music at the end of August. It will be his first mini-album release after breaking out as a solo artist. He earlier released his first official single ‘ Switch It Up,” since joining H1GHR, which featured Sokodomo.
After him, the K-pop star turned R&B/hip-hop soloist changed things up, and the other opted not to extend their contracts with JYP Entertainment. The seven-person group is still operating under the same name, they are focusing on solo singles with their various agencies.

4) Stray Kids
The eight-member JYP Entertainment K-pop boy group is back with a fresh new album named “NOEASY.” Pre-orders for the album have already begun, and if the trailer is any sign, it’s going to shake the globe.
Stray Kids’ previous release was on June 26th, earlier this year. “Mixtape: Oh,” a track from their mixtape effort, was also published.

3) Tomorrow X Together
Tomorrow X Together (or TXT), a boy band from Big Hit Music, is ready to release a repackaged edition of their album “The Chaos Chapter: Freeze.” “The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape” is the title of the next album.
It is a five-person K-pop group signed to Big Hit Music. They made their debut in 2019 on March 4th with their EP “The Dream Chapter: Star” and lead song “Crown.” Their previous album, “The Chaos Chapter: Freeze,” was released on May 31st.
The release date is August 17, 2021.

2) Sunmi
Sunmi, one of South Korea’s most famous K-pop performers, will be returning at the beginning of August! The 29-year-old superstar will release “1/6,” a 6-track mini-album with the title tune “You Can’t Sit With Us.”
She was once a member of the K-pop girl group Wonder Girls under JYP Entertainment. She joined with ABYSS Company after they split up in 2017 and has been releasing songs under the label since then.

1) Somi
Somi, a solo K-pop singer signed to The Black Label, will make her comeback with her new digital song, “Dumb Dumb.”
Her previous release was in the year 2020, with the song “What You Waiting For,” which peaked at number 53 on the South Korean Gaon chart. The idol was a member of the project girl group I.O.I until its time ended and it disbanded.
