Matthew Perry: “Why is Keanu Reeves alive?”

Matthew Perry is leading the headlines one after other. The 53-years-old actor who is best known for his role in the famous sitcom FRIENDS as Chandler Bing, is currently seen to be talking about his hatred with Keanu Reeves in his freshly released memoir “Friends, Lovers, And the Big Terrible Thing.”

Mathew somewhere didn’t really like Keanu for some unknown reasons. It is quite clear in his memoir where except for sharing his best memories he is also seen to be sharing his rivalries. He openly wrote, “Why is it that the original thinkers like River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die, but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?”

Perry recalls his long-lost friend Phoenix who passed away in 1993 due to drug overdose at the very young age of 23. Phoenix had good terms with Reeves as friends. Perry met Phoenix when he debuted his first movie A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon in 1993.

He describes about him and his talent in his memoir by saying, “River was a beautiful man inside and out and too beautiful for this world, it turned out.” He also added that he was really talented guys who go down.

Perry also shared his disappointment of his death by writing that “I heard the screaming from my apartment; went back to bed; woke up to the news.” Perry also shared the similar incident with Chris Farley who also died to drug overdose at the age of 33 in 1997. At that time, he punched a hole through Jennifer Aniston’s dressing room and finds Keanu Reeves walking among them.
