“Men deserve engagement rings too,” the Olympic gold medallist writes, proposing to National Hockey Star, P.K. Subban
It was Marry Christmas for the star athletes, Lindsey Vonn and P.K.Subban as she proposed the latter on Christmas day. In a non-traditional move, the ski racer, Lindsey Vonn has set an example wherein the former World Cup alpine ski racer went down on one knee (not literally) and proposed the love of her life. And he said “Yes”!
On the two years anniversary of the couple, Vonn decided to return the favour by popping the same question and presenting Subban with a ring because he too deserved one. The former downhill ski champ proposed New Jersey Devils stars on the Christmas day and updated the news on her Instagram and Twitter page.
In the picture, the couple wore identical multi-coloured striped clothes in accordance with the essence of Christmas. They posed in front of a Christmas tree with their 3 dogs. In one of the pictures, the hockey star is flashing his engagement ring. Vonn got her ring and proposal in August so captioning the post she wrote that she wanted to return the gesture as women shouldn’t be the only one getting the engagement rings. People talk about equality but actions speak louder than words, she affirmed emphasizing on men’s right on the engagement rings just as much as of women.

The sports star couple met two years ago and made their relationship public in 2018. They now constitute the seven per cent of the couples globally who have proposed to each other with two rings.
In an interview with Vogue, Vonn had said that the couple is not in a big hurry to get married. It all depends on his playing schedule and when they would have time to sit down and go through it. There is big tournament ahead for Subban and she doesn’t want to stress him out.
Though there are reports that the couple will move to New Jersey where Subban is a defense man with New Jersey Devils.
