The unfortunate demise of the “Queen of Melody” has left India grieving. Lata Mangeshkar,92, passed away on 6th February. Furthermore, the singer was seriously ill for the past few weeks. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital and was suffering from pneumonia and Covid-19. Many fans, celebrities, relatives, and well-wishers are praying for the singer’s peace. This is yet another attempt to pay tribute to the “Nightingale of India”.

Lata Mangeshkar was a singer since childhood. She started her career in singing at the age of just 13 in 1942. Moreover, she has about 30,000 Indian songs in her records. Lata Mangeshkar was always open about her relationship with music and has frequently stated that it comes from within her. The Legendary singer had a career of almost seven decades! Moreover, all of her songs have been superhit among the Indians. She has sung some evergreen songs like “Ajeeb dastan hai ye”, “Lag Ja Gale”, “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon”, which we all hum even today!
