Yellowstone Finally Gets A Nomination At SAG
Kevin Costner starrer American drama series, Yellowstone finally gained recognition after being nominated at the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) 2022, which will be announced on February 27, this year.
Before this, the blockbuster series received an Emmy nomination for Production Design. Despite being a hit series for its last three seasons and five years, Taylor Sheridan’s show continued to receive cornerstones from all the major award shows.

Last Wednesday, creator Taylor Sheridan was overjoyed when he heard the news of Yellowstone getting nominated at the 28th annual SAG Awards. In a statement, he said that there is no greater compliment to an actor to be recognized by his peers. Sheridan congratulated the cast of her drama series on this impressive nomination.
The Late Recognition
The Paramount series first aired in 2018 which became a huge hit with 7 million viewers in no time. After its successful season, its fourth and final season aired on the TV set a new record for most-watched shows with 11.4 million views. The final episode of the fourth season’s viewership is 81 per cent higher than its previous season’s 5.2 million viewers.
Seeing the show hit new records certainly makes it worthy of being nominated by prominent awards. The show has ended and its next season is still in doubt. However, you can always enjoy its previous seasons.
Other nominations at SAG 2022
Lady Gaga’s starrer crime drama, House of Gucci (2021) received three nominations at SAG for best cast, along with the Western drama film The Power of the Dog. Don’t Look Up, CODA, King Richard also received a nomination for assembling the best cast on screen.
The SAG Award 2022 ceremony will take place in Los Angeles.
