Kanye West ‘Donda 2’ Album Coming Out This Year
Kanye West recently announced on social media he would soon drop Donda 2, his next album. West now officially known as Ye, his new album is ready and will release next month. You heard right, Donda 2 will release on 22 February 2022.
West dropped the announcement through a picture of Chicago home on fire, written on it the date. He also revealed Future will work as an executive producer for the album.
His new album is coming amidst his romance with Uncut Gems actress, Julia Fox, and feud with Kim Kardashian.
The sequel to the 26 tracks first album, Kanye West’s new album will be the first sequel project under his studio.
The artist started working on the sequel album a few months later of its first release. After several delays in the release, the album is finally coming out.
Fans Reaction
Fans were delighted on getting the news. West’s social media handle flooded with excited comments. A young music artist from Sweden, Daniel Javan, commented, ‘Gonna be on repeat,’ addressing the song. Lebanese singer Maro and American hip-hop artist, Speed Walton also showed their excitement on the release announcement. 1 Rebel Nation commented, ‘Just know this album is legendary’.
Donda was released last year on 29 August 2021 by GOOD Music. It was the tenth studio album of West and named after his late mother.
The album won several awards including Grammy for major categories and rap album of 2021.
Donda’s song Hurrican, which features Weekend and Lil Baby received the best rap melodic performance. While its other song, Jail by Jay-Z nominated for the best rap song.
