In a video released, Jeffree Star confirms his separation from Nathan Schwandt
Jeffree Star and Nathan Schwandt are no longer together.
Yes, you heard it right. The power couple has broken up. Jeffree Star, 34, and Nathan Schwandt have gone separate ways after 5 years of relationship. Jeffree confirmed the rumours of their breakup in an emotional YouTube video.
The video uploaded by Star on his YouTube channel on 11th January turned peopleâs worst fears real. The video, titled, âWe broke up,â has Star sitting on his king-size pink bed, holding a brown teddy bear in one hand surrounded by his Pomeranian dogs.
He started the video on an emotional tone saying he doesnât know how to start the intro. Heâd never thought that this day would come where heâd be sitting there talking about it, he started. Star admitted with teary eyes that it took him ten times to get through the opening without crying and that he is a âfew weeksâ into the split.
He clarified that he has used the time of silence to just try to heal. The news of their breakup had started going around in the later part of the last year but they remain tight-lipped about it. The American famous makeup artist further said that they are both in a state of shock. He is devastated. He is so sad. And that is the reason behind him stepping back from recent professional engagements.
While Star didnât reveal the cause of the split, he did say he doesnât have any ill will towards his ex. âThis isnât like an internet fight. This isnât drama. This isnât tea.â âThis is my real life and me and my soul mate are really going through it,â he said.
Talking about Schwandt, Star spoke that Schwandt the only man who was confident to love him publicly, to love him for him fully with all his flaws. He touched the subject of their friends and family trying to sell-out their breakup story to make some money from it, talking about it, he said that he doesnât even know how to process that. They are heartbroken there, dealing with their emotions, dealing with things behind the scenes and off-camera, and there are their families trying to tell the media fake stories, and get money out of it.

Towards the end of the video, Star said that he and Nathan will be friends forever. He will always have love for him. But they are not in love with each other anymore, however, theyâll love each other and Schwandt will always be part of Starâs life.
Star and Schwandt met through Instagram in 2014, and the two started dating the following year. On the 1st day of 2020, Star had taken fans on the tour of his lavish mansion.
