Demi Lovato missed 2019 MTV VMAs and people think Taylor Swift is the reason behind.

MTV VMAs 2019 was a grand affair. The award function that took place on 27^th August saw an usher of all the big names from the music industry. But Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato were noticeably absent from the event. While Billie and Ariana were absent due to their prior commitments; Ariana is in London for her sweetener world tour, and Billie, too, has her concerts lined up in Moscow, Demi intentionally skipped the ceremony.

During the ceremony, the Here We Go Again singer took Instagram to reveal the reason behind her absence. She broadcasted “I skipped VMAs for a REASON” in her story. Highlighting the word ‘reason’ paved a way for several assumptions, widely speculated from those is that Taylor Swift is the reason behind; and it’s believed that through the story, Demi shaded You Need to Calm Down singer.

Demi is very close to Scooter Braun, who is her music manager after the two signed a management deal early this year. The dispute between Scooter Braun and Taylor Swift is widely known, and that is being speculated as the reason behind Lovato skipping the music ceremony and posting the story.

Another story was shortly followed from her account stating the reason behind missing MTV VMAs 2019.

Shortly after her previous story, she again posted “well that and I just hate award shows” with a crying laughing emoticon. It’s unclear what Demi’s ‘reason’ was but fans of the two pop-stars have taken it upon themselves to stand by their idols. Taylor’s fans are accusing Lovato of being bitter and shady about the former’s triumph while the latter’s fans dismissing the accusations are defending their favorite singer.
