Envision Dragons have delivered another music video for their tune “Follow You,” highlighting It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia stars Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson.
Coordinated by Matt Eastin and shot inside The Venetian Theater at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, the video shows Olson’s amazing McElhenney with a private show from his “most loved band.” Problem is, his #1 band is the Killers, and Olson really reserved her number one band, Imagine Dragons — a flippant reference to the two groups’ Las Vegas roots. As Imagine Dragons perform “Follow You,” Olson jumps into a dream in which the musicians lure her (shirtless, obviously), while McElhenney envisions… all things considered, something somewhat more out there.
Envision Dragons initially shared “Follow You” a week ago close by another single, “Ferocious.”
The pair of tracks, which will be included in an impending collection, is the band’s first new music since 2018’s Origins. In a meeting with Rolling Stone, Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds examined working with unbelievable maker Rick Rubin on the melodies, and how a hallucinogenic involvement in ayahuasca enlivened the band’s new course.
“It was truly groundbreaking for me, in assisting me with seeing things that don’t make any difference and relinquishing those things and seeing things that do matter and accepting those things,” Reynolds said. “So that truly changed this entire record for me. Clearly, I’m not hoping to come out and be, similar to, Mr. Ayahuasca or something. In any case, it was truly extraordinary for me. It assisted me with taking jumps and walks in my psychological wellness.”
