Half Life: Alyx; Not an extension of Half Life 2. Critics laud it with praises

Half-Life: Alyx is definitely not an extension of Half-Life 2 as it takes place in the center around Half-Life and Half-Life 2.

Half-Life was launched in 1998, and thereafter Half-Life 2 was published in 2004. Everyone thought that Half-Life: Alex was part 3 of the game, but no, it takes place between these two games.

Half-life Alex is a visual reality game developed by Valve software. It got launched on 23rd march 2020. Upon its release, the game earned a positive response from critics, who praised the graphics and voice acting of the game, and some said that it is VR’s first killer app.

Visual reality game Alex supports all VR headsets such as HTC Vive, Valve index, etc. However, the game was launched in VR. So, the creator has no plan for the non-VR version.

The game started before the return of Gordon Freeman Half-Life 2. Players can control Alyx Vance as she and her father Eli Vance combat the empire of an alien who has conquered the earth.

Player uses VR to get weapons, throw an object to engage. However, the puzzles and exploration will be back in this game from the original version. This game is a first-person shooter as the player has the potential to reach Alex cross the level. Although, the player can opt for analog stick on VR control like in other video games.

Half-life: Alex gets universal acclaim came from critics as reviewed by Metacritic. Many include VG247, Tom’s Hardware has claimed that the game is outstanding and it is the VR killer app.

According to Metacritic, the game become among the top 20 at the end of March 2020. All the fans are excited about the new game. But some are disappointed to know that it is only available in VR.

On the first day of release, Half-Life: Alyx got 43,000 current players.it is a great achievement for the game. So if you want to experience the best virtual reality game, then this game is for you.
