Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba just finished off its first season in 2019 and it was easily one of the best anime series of 2019. The anime is action-packed with a dark setting and with its emotionally driven story-line, interesting characters, and setting, viewers will stay entertained until the end since there are no filler episodes. The show has an amazing soundtrack that effortlessly captures the mood of every scene.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba tells the story of a boy named Tanjiro Kamado who finds most of his family slaughtered and his only surviving sister, Nezuko, has been transformed into a demon. But, unlike most demons, Nezuko displays that she can calm her bloodlust and live along with others. With Nezuko by his side, Tanjiro sets off to find a way to change his sister back into a human.
Demon Slayer Movie Update.
With a season that certainly exceeded expectations, fans are eagerly waiting for “Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2” but it seems that fans might have to wait a little longer since the creators of the anime are set to release a movie named Demon Slayer: Demon Train Arc or “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-Hen”.
The official twitter account of Demon Slayer revealed that the movie is set to release in Japan in the year 2020. The movie is expected to drop in the months of July-August. The movie will be based on the seventh volume of the manga series named ‘The Infinite Train’. The rumors are that the movie is going to continue the plot left from the last episode of the anime series.
Demon Slayer Season 2 release date.
From what we have heard, series writer Japan, Koyoharu Gotōge, is already working on publishing more volumes, which will be used as the plot in the near future. With the movie releasing in 2020, we can expect the second season to release in 2021.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Plot
The second season will probably kickoff from the ending of the movie, and will continue Tanjiro’s quest to find a cure so that Nezuko can go back to being human again. The show can explore more about Muzan Kibutsuji’s character and how he’s mastered the art of creating demons.
It has been a long time since season 1 released and the expectations of the fans will be high when season 2 lands.
