Eminem pays homage by taking one knee at Super Bowl Half Time

Eminem takes a knee at NFL Super Bowl Half time

The ‘8-mile’ rapper Marshall Mathers popularly known as ‘EMINEM’ performed at Super Bowl. The Hip- hop heavy concert was held during halftime. Along with Eminem Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J Blige, and Snoop Dogg also performed. It’s such an eye feast. After performing the hit song ‘Lose Yourself’ song, he took a knee at the concert till Dr. Dre started the next song by playing the piano.

People tried to decipher the reason behind his actions. Former Quarterback of San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick did the same thing in 2016. He too knelt as a protest to racial injustice during the American National Anthem. His career ended in 2016 itself. It is a tribute to Kaepernick’s gesture.

That is the last song at LA Ram’s SoFi Stadium. However, Spokesman of the NFL Brian McCarthy said that the league has no problem with Eminem kneeling and also said that they have seen him do this in his rehearsal.
