Celine Dion talks her health issues, is suffering from neurological disorder, shares video

Celine Dion shares a video talking about her disorder she is been suffering from

Celine Dion is quite open about her personal stuff as she mentions that she is an ‘open book’. Now after holding it for so long she finally speaks up for her suffering.

She stated in an Instagram video that she has been diagnosed from Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) which is not very common and is very rare to infect others. SPS, as per the Cleveland Clinic is referred as a rare autoimmune disorder that directly attacks the central nervous system and causes stiffness and rigidity in the legs and muscles in our body.

Celine Dion was forced to cancel her North American Tour. She earlier cancelled them due to covid but now it’s her health condition not letting her to perform. Talking about her situation, she learns that all the spasms she is been suffering were actually because of SPS. Those spasms break her inside out as she can’t even walk properly and most importantly, she can’t even sing the way she used to as they affect her vocal cords a lot.
She shot 2 videos, one in English and other in French stating that she wants to take extra care of her health and for the time being she will postpone the European tour. She has a great team of doctors, she assures fan.

Concerts to get rescheduled

The 54-year-old Canadian native is struggling since few months now. She has contributed her life in singing and now that’s one of the things she can’t do, which she loved the most. She also said, “I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again.”
