Brad Pitt Teamed Up With French Music Producer Damien Quintard To relaunch historic Miraval Studios
Brad Pitt is back! This time he teamed up with French music producer, Damien Quintard, an Emmy Award winner to relaunch Miraval Studios. The French music producer is also the founder of The Mono Company and SoundX and was also named by Forbes 30 under 30 list.
If you are hearing the name the first time let me introduce this studio to you. This studio has a historic significance. All the great bands and singers have recorded their music here. Pink Floyd, The Cure, Sting, Ac/DC, and more have created their album in Miraval Studio’s only.
The studio was built by French pianist Jacques Loussier in 1977. Now, Pitt and Quintard are transforming this studio into a creative hub where film and music production can be done.
The studio not only includes film and music production but with the partnership of the Perrin family who happens to be a French winemaker, will also include winemaking.
Last year Pitt decided to relaunch the studio and signed a deal with Quintard. The 58-year-old actor talked about why he signed on to the venture. He said that when he first saw Miraval, he saw an extraordinary place that has its own distinguished history. Only high-quality things are found in this place, be it winemaking or music. And this studio will continue to provide space for all facilities of our desires.
Location of Studio
Located in Chateau Miraval, Provence a vineyard, this studio was leased by Pitt and Angelina Jolie back in 2008 after which it was bought in 2011 and was also their wedding avenue in 2014. The studio was spread in 1235 acres in a village named Correns.
The location of the studio is surrounded by prominent celebrities. Minutes away from Cannes, this village is residence to George Clooney and his wife who in 2021 purchased Domaine du Canadel and George Lucas’s vineyards.
When It Will Open
The renovated and new studio will open in summer this year. Few microphones and fittings are kept as it was with just new designs. The new studio will showcase the taste and experience of both Pitt and Quintard.
