BIGBANG’s T.O.P is prepping for his solo career. Just a few weeks ago the news about the Korean singer parting ways after a long-time Association with YG entertainment. The company released an official statement regarding the same. Saying that Although he will leave YG entertainment, he will still be a part of group activities. He will leave his other band members. In fact the all the boys of BIGBANG including top will release new music this spring.

After the news about his departure from the company broke out, the 34-year-old-singer took to Instagram to share his happiness with his fans. He posted stories that read “I am so happy”. The company said that the singer talked about the termination of his contract because he wanted to “expand his horizons”.

The South Korean singer made his debut 16 years ago with His group BIGBANG gaining a huge following across the globe. They achieved world wide success becoming the one of the best selling boy bands in the world. T.O.P, the main rapper of the group, began his solo career in 2010. When he collaborated with G-Dragon. He released his digital single in 2010. He also made his acting debut in 2007 with “I Am Sam”.

‘Prestige’ Magazine Cover

On March 2, the singer also revealed that he will appear on the cover of Hong Kong’s magazine ‘Prestige’. The details about his first ever solo album will be featured in the magazine, which will release on March 7. T.O.P will also disclose the reason behind his disappearance from the public eye, his mental health and of course his forthcoming album in the cover story of ‘Prestige’. T.O.P shared his cover for the upcoming edition of the magazine on his Instagram as well.
