Coal Miner SUEK-Khakassia LLC of Russia is known for using BELAZ trucks in their mining function. Initially, set of two BELAZ- 130 truck have been working for SUEK-Khakassia in the country of Russia.
There is a 7513R robotic used at the Abakansky mining site. The routes of these trucks are specified in an area of 1.3 kilometers. This means it has to cover 1.3 km distance around the mines. It had clocked over 5000 K.M successful runnings till now.
Belarusian manufacture of haulage, BelAZ was opened in the year of 1948 and over 120000 had been produced so far. It especially manufactures its vehicles for the Soviet Union.
BELAZ stated that the development of robot technology will help in the introduction of digitalization at mining enterprises. This project is being carried forward in association with Zyfra Mining, the most prominent technology company.
It is also intending to expand the model design of the dump truck for the operation system. It also illustrates that the intelligent equipment which got tested on the mining dump truck of the Belaz -7513 series can be installed on all vehicles with a load capacity of 90,120,220,240 and 360 t. The loads capacity helps to curtail the cost of mining which helps to earn more profit than before.
The next plan of the company is to use a Shuttle robot that can eliminate the operator’s cab. BELAZ, also said that all this could be done with the help of automation and Technology. it also accepts that the market of the vehicles will be transformed in the coming years.
BELAZ is also focused on automated loading operations and Belaz- 78250 is being tested with remote control and it also creates a 3D model of Rock for mass intended loading, through which working of automation can be checked.
The BELAZ is also going to install sensors in the vehicle so that it can be traced anywhere in the world. All the technology in robotic machinery helps to decrease the personnel and the main action will be carried by the intelligent mining system.
