This will not only help in the pandemic to stop growing but will also be easier for government to treat the infected, saving a lot of time. Pandemic drones are also known as “Dragonfly drones.”

Some basic features of “Dragonfly drones“-

This is a drone which is the need of the hour indeed, announced from the Australian Department of Defense and the University of South. These drones will use sensors with computer vision which can detect people’s temperature and their heart rates as well. It also provides facilities through which it can detect people coughing in crowds. The drone is basically made by a Canadian company with collaboration to Australian Department.

Some robots and drones are also used to disinfect the affected area by sanitizing them properly. These drones are small sized and are provided with camera on the top of it with sensors. These sensors observes and records the heart rate of a person and their temperature. Since we all are said to be at home, socially distancing ourselves it will not be much use in the city area. Its main purpose will be to inspect people coming from cruise and ships. Other functions of the drones can be in areas like hospitals and other areas where we can find crowd.

DraganFly drones are remotely controlled by operators. Whenever these drones find a suspect they send a signal to the place from where it is being operated. The initial budget of this drone is approx. $1.5 million. Further it can also be used to surveillance area where there is probability of crowd to gather.
