Apex Legends is a next evolution battle royale game where contenders from across the Frontier team up to battle for glory, fame, and fortune. It is one of the hottest games basically meant for PlayStations, Xbox and Windows.

The game was made available to the gamers on February 4, 2019. The game is currently in its fourth season, Season 4 released in early February, coinciding with the game’s first anniversary. If we look at the pattern since each season last for 3 months so we can expect Season 5 to drop in early May.

In Apex Legends, maximum of 20 three-man squads land on an island without any kind of weapons and supplies who then attempt to defeat all other players in combat. Each player must also keep moving to avoid being caught outside the play area. The final team alive wins the round.

Apex Legends received positive reviews from both the critics and the gamers who praised its gameplay, progression system, and fusion of elements from various genres. Some considered it a competitor to Fortnite Battle Royale, a similar game that gained massive popularity in the previous year.

Fortnite, Call of Duty: Mobile and PUBG are all games of the same genre and received major success on smartphones. This led EA to think to bring the gaming experience to the smartphones.

The company confirmed a mobile release for the game back in May 2019, so it’s likely that the developer of Apex Legends is already working on porting the  Windows game to phones, somewhere in October 2021, but the company has been quiet about the port since then.

Chief executive at EA, Andrew Wilson, confirmed the game wouldn’t be launching until the fiscal year of 2021.
