What the Officials say
In an interview with Polygon @ BlizzCon, the officials said, “When we read about what our players want and have read over the last 20 years about what they’ve enjoyed. It’s a very common recurring thing that Diablo 2 is held up as sort of the high watermark for tone and lore. We agree, And so it was kind of exciting for us to think about, going back to that darker time.”
Luis Barriga, the Game Director said, “We did have that conversation quite a few times if like we feel like darkness is having its moment, Dark fantasy was having its moment, and we were like ‘Hey, do you want to make a dark Diablo game? I want to make a dark Diablo game. Let’s talk to Allen [Adham].’ And he was like, ‘Yeah, you can do that.’”
All About the Diablo 4(series)
The upcoming season will come up with a dark theme with fantasy. What we have seen in the previous series were set in a bright environment.
There is no official announcement about the release date of the game yet. The players who were excited about the game’s new venture, are criticizing Blizzard Entertainment for its delay.
The three Classes are revealed
Blizzard revealed three classes for Diablo season 4 at BlizzCon which are, Barbarian, Sorceress, and Druid.
- The barbarian class is a storm of swinging weapons both blunt and sharp; tactless. Brute & unforgivingly effective. The special qualities have a project that is a wave of energy to damage surroundings enemies an also one that buffs attacks & covers the Barbarian in flaming ruins.
- The sorceress includes a more tactical way to combat, choosing attack goes from after using projectile which includes firewalls, ice arrows, & a honing bolt of lighting.
- The druid class is back with a new design & magic skills, Instead of fire magic, storm & earth magic power the druid’s attacks.
Lilith is coming back
As we saw in the last Diablo 2’ pandemonium event, Lilith is an extremely challenging demon and also known as ‘Mother of Misery,’ ‘Queen of the Succubi,’ ‘Mother of Deceit,’ & ‘Mistress of Betrayal .’
It is presumed that Lilith has graduated from a uber boss in Diablo2 to one of Diablo 4’ Primary antagonist as per the revealed trailer. The design we see will be dramatically different from what we saw in the prior ventures in Diablo.
So hold on to your gaming consoles and wait for further updates.
