Netflix Series The Baby-Sitters Club Got Cancelled After Its Successful Two Seasons
The Baby-Sitters Club, the popular Netflix series got cancelled by the popular streaming platform. It brought a wave of shock for the fans when Netflix announced its final decision.
The teen series which is popular among every age group first premiered in 2020 with 18 episodes for two seasons.
Now the series got cancelled which was blamed on the creators as there is not enough content to run the show which attracts the viewers.
Netflix took this decision five months after the start of the second season. This will surely make fans of the series sad.
However, the ratings of the show remained questionable as Netflix did not show the exact data. But both its seasons have received positive reviews, especially from teenage girls. Its second season ranked ninth in the English language series. But then its rating fell and didn’t top in the U.S. top 10 series.
About the series
Rachel Shukert’s Netflix comedy-drama series based on Ann M. Martin’s popular children’s novel of the same name. Released in July, the series received enough praise that its second season got renewed in October, just after two months of its premiere.
The series revolves around middle school students and their friendship and adventures. Its story takes place in Connecticut where the teenagers started their babysitting job. The story takes a comical twist when their babysitting job gets tangled up in a mixed adventure and how they come out of it.
The series cast included Sophie Grace, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph, Malia Baker, as the main cast. Apart from that, Mark Feuerstein, Alicia Silverstone, Xochitl Gomez, Vivian Watson, Anais Lee also appeared in the supporting role.
