A Mega Surprise for Fans as Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist have Teamed Up for a New Album Titled ‘Alfredo’

The duo has teamed up yet again for the album titled Alfredo

Yesterday, we saw Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs and ace producer The Alchemist teasing about their new collaborative project on their social medias, and today, just a few hours ago, we got to see that it was a whole new album named Alfredo. What a way to start off the day!

Not their first team-up

Gibbs and The Alchemist had worked on projects in the past as well. In 2018, The Alchemist had produced every single track in Gibbs’ project with Curren$y, titled Fetti. After that they worked with Madlib for Bandana. And recently, Gibbs made a special appearance on the Alchemist and Boldly James’ album called The Price Of Tea In China.

Alfredo will have many other artists making an appearance, including Rick Ross, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine, and Tyler, The Creator. So far, the only video song that’s been released is the album’s opener, 1985. It’s available for streaming, along with the rest of the songs in Alfredo.

The songs in Alfredo are:

  1. 1985
  2. God Is Perfect
  3. Scottie Beam f. Rick Ross
  4. Look At Me
  5. Frank Lucas f. Benny The Butcher
  6. Something To Rap f. Tyler, The Creator
  7. Baby $hit
  8. Babies & Fools ft. Conway The Machine
  9. Skinny Suge
  10. All Glass

In the video for 1985, which has been directed by Nick Walker, we get to see Gibbs and Alchemist all suited up and looking like Pulp Fiction characters, and with nothing but a car for company in the middle of nowhere, and surrounded by transmission towers.

The Alchemist had a successful 2020 so far, after producing projects for Conway The Machine and Boldly James. One of his beats was also featured on Jay Electronica’s first album.
