Based on the video game franchise, the sequel part has Jeremy Slater on board as a scriptwriter. He previously worked on The Exorcist, Moon Knight, The Lazarus Effect, fantastic Four, etc.

Slater’s previous big work includes Moon Knight, where he worked as a head writer for this Disney+ series. The series released on March 30, 2020, which includes Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and French artist Gaspard Ulliel.

The scriptwriter is also working on Thread, produced by Atomic Monster and James Wan. His latest work can also be seen on Netflix, Uprising, directed by Travis Knight, and The Umbrella Academy.

This made one thing sure that original writers, Dave Callaham and Greg Russo from the first part are not returning for the sequel.
