Lock the Date as MCU Finally Begins the Production of ‘The Marvels’

The wait is soon to be over!

The last two years have been great for MCU. Captain Marvel sequel ‘The Marvels’ has started its production. we knew the work was in progress by following star Brie Larson’s exercise routine on Twitter. But finally Larson and co-star Samuel L. Jackson have disclosed that filming on the film has begun.
The Marvels, Marvel’s follow-up to Captain Marvel, is in development. Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury, announced the news on Instagram,  with an on-set shot of Nick Fury’s unique facial hair.

“Guess what time it is,” Jackson captions the photo. “Back in the box, just in time for The Nick!”. This will be Jackson’s first look since his major part in Captain Marvel.
Star Brie Larson confirmed the start of filming in a Sirius XM interview, but Jackson’s post is the first behind-the-scenes peek.
Larson, meanwhile, spoke on the sequel’s scope in a Sirius XM interview. It’s a very unique experience. I am a huge Disneyland fan, so I get to go to my own Disneyland every single day Because they’re creating these insane worlds that no one else knows about or gets to see. You’ll see it when the movie comes out, but for the time being, it’s all mine. I’m currently working on sets that are larger than you can conceive. It’s very unique, she adds.
‘The Marvels’ is being directed by Candyman’s Nia DaCosta and written by WandaVision’s Megan McDonnell.
‘The Marvels’ will reconnect Larson’s Carol Danvers with Monica Rambeau. although the adult version played by Teyonah Parris, see her join forces with Ms Marvel (Iman Vellani), who will be presented in her own MCU Disney+ series. Seo Jun Park and Zawe Ashton have also joined the cast.
 
‘The Marvels’ is set to hit theatres in November 2022.
