The group is making headlines wkth their new album ‘Sticker’
It’s official. NCT 127 is all set to host an episode of SNL Korea!
A source from SNL Korea spilled the beans on September 23, saying that the idol group is about to start as this season’s first idol host. This is a big moment for the group.
NCT 127 recently released their third studio album ‘Sticker,’ and it topped both domestic and international music charts. The title track, also called ‘Sticker’ was well-received. They got more than 1 million stock pre-orders, and also had the third-highest first day sales in Janteo history.
The group is now enjoying the appreciation and love from all over the world, but has a new challenge next. They will have to show their comedic side through SNL Korea. Comedy, as you know it, requires a different kind of energy. Hopefully, NCT 127 can bring their refreshing energy forward and entertain the audience. They become the first idol host as well as tbe youngest host for this rebooted season.
Saturday Night Live Korea aired for nine seasons, after beginning in 2011 and ending in 2017. The original network was tvN. The show got rebooted after that and now premieres in the OTT platform Coupang play. The cast members include Shin Dong-Yup, Kwon Hyuk-Soo, Ahn Young-Mi, Jung Sang-Hoon, Kim Min-Kyo, Cha Chung-Hwa, and Red Velvet’s Wendy. The show gained attention after stars like Jo Jung-Suk, Lee Byung-Hun, Ha Ji-Won, and Jessi arrived to host.
