Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba and also the second richest man, has donated 100 million yuan ($14.4 million) for the creation of vaccines. He has contributed 40 million yuan ($5.8 million) for two research organizations of the Chinese Government, and the rest of the funds will be used for treatment and prevention measures. In addition to it, Alibaba will also provide for all the necessary Al computing processes required for the creation of the vaccines.

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation of Bill Gates has donated $10 million in addition to $5 million for international cooperation, treatment, and vaccine development.

Companies and tech giants of China, such as Baidu, Tencent, and Byte Dance run by Robin Li, Ma Huateng, and Zhang Timing, have contributed 800 million yuan ($115 million) for researching and developing new treatments and also for helping the authorities in the affected areas. Smartphone developer Huawei has contributed to the development of Huoshenshan hospital in Wuhan city.

Funds are also contributed to other countries of the world. The third-richest person in the world, Bernard Arnault and Francois Pinault has donated $2.3 million and $1 million, respectively. Large multinationals such as Microsoft, Dell, Loreal, and Carbill have contributed 10 million yuan ($1.4 million). Apple CEO Tim Cook tweeted that Apple will be donating to groups on the ground helping support all of those affected.
