About The Wonder Twins

Wonder Twins
DC

The characters were created by Norman Maurer, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and made their debut in The World’s Greatest Super Friends in 1977. Zan and Jayna, the twins, are an extraterrestrial brother-sister duo. They can activate their powers by bumping fists and saying, “Wonder Twin powers, activate!” Zan’s ability is to become water in any state, while Jayna can become any animal she pleases. They are accompanied by their pet monkey Gleek. Gleek wears glasses and usually assists them in serving justice.

The two have appeared in The CW’s Smallville, and recently came on Teen Titans Go! They were also teased on the Arrowverse crossover event, Crisis on Infinite Earths. As for comics, the twins further received their own 12-issue limited series in 2019 by Mark Russell, Dave Sharpe, and Stephen Byrne.
