Top 5 Games Released in 2020 that Proved to be Gamers’ Delight

Here are some of our best picks

2020 has been a rough year, but was also a year for next-gen gaming and consoles. While some of the most anticipated games didn’t work out so well, there were still a few that worked it’s way to a gamer’s heart. Check out our top 5 picks.

5. Call of Duty Warzone

Activision

Call of Duty was a little late to the battle royale party, but they’ve sure made a hell of an entry. Aside from the exhilarating multiplayer gameplay, there are good vehicles, a decent ping system, a boatload of weapons, and the chance to return from the dead by playing a 1v1 fight at the gulag. Be the last man standing in Call of Duty: Warzone!

4. Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Nintendo

The Nintendo life simulator was definitely one of the highlights of this year, where you get to build your own paradise and fill it with some hella cute animal villagers. The game is wholesome in every way, and you will have a great time playing with friends and visiting each other’s islands.

3. Hades

Supergiant Games

A surprising entry but a very welcome one indeed. Made by an indie game developer, Hades is a journey through the underworld where control, family, friends, and purpose is filled in every corner. We play as Zagreus, a character longing to escape his family’s shackles.

2. Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Insomniac Games

Join Miles Morales as he steps up to take the heavy mantle of Spider-Man in Peter Parker’s absence and goes on a mission to save New York during the Christmas season. The game is packed with beautiful web swinging, jaw-dropping action, and an emotional story that has as much heart as the Spider-Man PS4 game.

1. Ghost of Tsushima

Sucker Punch

One of the best games to come out in 2020, Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world action-adventure game about the journey of a samurai called Jin Sakai during the Mongol Invasion period of Japan. The action and story has all the beauty and gore that were present in a samurai’s life and was a breath of fresh air for the gamers.
