Combining exciting gameplays with realistic battlegrounds
PUBG is in the news again, and this is something players have been eagerly waiting for – a new map! The game’s sequel, titled PUBG: Battlegrounds will be rolling out a new map known as Deston, and developer Krafton has given an explanation about how the map combines fun with realism. Let’s take a look at it below.
PUBG Map – Deston
Krafton has described the new map as the largest, tallest, and densest map that the game has ever seen. In Deston, players get to explore and fight across rolling hills, swamps, plains, and even urban settings with skyscrapers. The map’s goal is to provide the perfect balance between fun gameplay and a realistic battleground that players can dive into. PUBG players will have to understand the terrains well to figure out an appropriate weapon set, vehicles, and hunting locations.

Every location looks as if it can give the firefight of a lifetime, with land and water resources in between. Among the locations is a Concert District, complete with giant floating chicken balloons, and specific tall buildings with motorized pullies called Ascenders at the side. This will allow players to get to the top and back down easily. But if you want to skip the pulley and jump off, there is always a built-in emergency parachute.
Release Date
