Zayn talks about his religious beliefs to Vogue.
According to the reports given by Vogue, Malik was raised by his father, Yaser, and his mother, Trisha. His mother was converted to Islam. He used to spend time at a mosque. Malik believes a bit different than others, but his views cannot be held as stagnant. In 2007, he said in an interview that he does not want to defined by his religion or his cultural background. Though he follows his religion like every other person belonging to the Islamic community does.
However, Malik’s religious beliefs evolved with time. In 2018, he spoke to Vogue, telling them that he has never spoken publicly about his religious beliefs. He also regarded himself as a non-muslim, though he has not completely abandoned a belief in the supernatural.
Zayn does not regret his Islamic upbringing, but he has some beautiful words to say for all faiths.“There’s definitely beautiful parts to every religion.”
