Wu-Tang: An American Saga has returned with a new season
Wu-Tang: An American Saga season 1 aired in 2019 has ended with a doozy cliff-hanger. Undoubtedly, this made fans impatient for season 2. Well, the wait is over now! The second season of “Wu-Tang: An American Saga” finally premiered on September 8 on the Hulu streaming service. The first 3 episodes of season 2 got released on September 8 at 12:00 a.m. ET. This music drama series is based on the true tales of the American hip-hop band Wu-Tang clan.
what’s onboard in season 2?
While season 1 primarily focused on the birth of the Wu-Tang clan, season 2 is likely to bring music to the front. Season 1 also gave us a glimpse of the characters’ lives and how deep they got trapped in the crime world. Season 2 will take us through the journey of bandmates from being friends to becoming brothers.
Recently, RZA revealed that season 2 focuses on the creation of their band’s debut album. Wu-Tang clan’s first album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 chambers) was originally released in 1993. The album presented a few rap battles between the band members Method Man and Raekwon and was a sensational hit. RZA stated, “I think one big thing is that in the season we rarely touched into the recording of 36 Chambers…there are certain things that happened in that studio that are hilarious, that’s the caption of our youth, and also that’s iconic.”
So, season 2 will likely feature Siddiq Saunderson (Ghost Killah) recreating the rap performances of Ghostface Killah.
At the end of season 1, Bobby Diggs shoots Attila and flees to Ohio with Denis and Shurrie. The first episode released with the title “Little Ghetto Boys “seems to continue on the same note. The second and third episodes had their titles as “Brooklyn Zoo” and “Hollow Bones” respectively.
Release Schedule of Wu-Tang: An American Saga Season 2
Similar to the previous one season 2 also consists of 10 episodes. As the first three episodes that got released on Wednesday, September 8, new episodes will also be released every Wednesday on Hulu.
