Good Omens is a miniseries based on 1990s novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. The series is co-produced by Amazon Studios and BBC Studios, the six episodes series was written by Gaiman himself.
We have a great cast ensemble for this mini-series which includes David Tennant, Michael sheen, Adria Arjona, Miranda Richardson, Jack Whitehall and Frances McDormand as the audio of the god. we can expect the show to show up with second season in the near future. but no official announcements are made.
What Is Plot Of Good Omens?
The series shows some old fantasy story plotline yet in dynamically presentable form. We have Aziraphale angel and demon Crowley who are grown accustomed to a life of earth and team up for an unlikely team. They are in an attempt to stop the approaching Armageddon. Well to do so they have to find an eleven-year boy who is unaware of his powers to end days upon humanity. This bumpy duo shows the spirit and teamwork in fall of humanity, which is admirable to watch on screen.
Neil wants to Tribute the Show to his Co-writer, Late Terry
While the show drives you, there is some back story that you would love to know. Neil recently told in an interview that show was the last wish of his co-writer. The latter passed way in 2015 at the age of 66 suffering from Alzheimer.
Neil remembered terry and said that they promised each other that they wouldn’t do the screen without each other. And that they were in long time search of a show writer. But the health condition of terry couldn’t suffice their dream, he asked Neil to find out time fro his busy schedule and justify their 30-year-old vision. and tribute him in the best way.
