The television program “White House Plumbers,” which follows the men at the core of the drama, is based on public archives and Egil and Matthew Krogh’s book decency. It focuses on the “Watergate geniuses,” E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, whose efforts to keep President Nixon in power ultimately led to his ouster.

Although brief, the HBO trailer highlights the two main lures of the show: the captivating story of Watergate and the cast’s abundance of potential. The teaser opens with a chilling melody sound tracking the theft, much like any other heist tale would. Then, however, everything crumbles, and viewers learn about all the political intrigue and turmoil that took place behind the scenes of the incident. It then takes no time to showcase each of the show’s performers.

Harrelson and Theroux will be joined by a number of actors, including Judy Greer, Lena Headey, Ike Barinholtz, Domhnall Gleeson, Kiernan Shipka, Kathleen Turner, Abraham, John Carroll Lynch, Toby Huss, Kim Coates, Yul Vazquez, David Krumholtz, F. Murray, and more, according to the teaser. The writers and makers of the miniseries were indeed Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory. David Mandel is the director of the five-part miniseries. He is renowned for helming episodes of popular shows like Veep and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
