The American drama series Mr. Robot unfolds a major twist in the plot.
The final season that is season 4 has left the fans stunned. The fans have witnessed the character Elliot Alderson share an open space with the character Mr. Robot. However, the plot takes a massive turn. In the second episode of Season 4, a secret third personality got unwinded.
In the episode named – 402 Payment Required, Alderson reveals a third character. The fans realize a surprising fact about Aderson at the same time when he himself realizes it. The plot twist occurs when Darlene, who is Anderson’s sister reminds him of a discussion happened a week before. The conversion was about Fernando Vera (drug lord) who returned to New York.
Both Anderson and Mr. Robot were not able to recollect the memory of their encounter with him. As a result, there came a very important question – ‘Who was it?’ If the encounter was not with either Anderson or Mr. Robot.
After this very scene, the show maker takes the fans to the past of Anderson – the younger version. We can see that the protagonist speaks to his mother (Magda). The venue of the scene is the boardroom where he met Tyrell Wellick in Season 1.
Magda informs her son that it’s not his seat. Anderson thinks if he was taking the seat of Mr. Robot. But, she tells it’s not the seat of Mr. Robot either. The seat belongs to the third character.
However, we don’t know the exact identity of this third character so far. Sam Esmail, the creator of the show tells that this twist was since the beginning of the show.
