‘WeCrashed’ on Apple TV+
The trailer of the new apple TV+’s series, WeCrashed was released and has left the fans exited for the new Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway starring project. The T.V. series will follow the success and failures, the rise and falls of a start-up and the individuals involved in it. This highly anticipated Apple TV+ original will be released on March 18.
This series has been inspired from the Wondrey podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork by Drew Crevello and Lee Eisenberg. It will give the viewers a deep insight on how the company was created and what setbacks the founders had to come across.
Drunk on Power
Leto plays the character of Adam Neumann, founder of a company called WeWork and actor Anne Hathaway plays Rebekah Neumann, his wife, who helped him build this empire. in the trailer Hathaway announces that “WeWork’s role is to elevate the world’s consciousness.”
The couple works hard to create a brand for their startup and conquer challenges that come their way but that is until things go south. Tensions progressively begin to escalate as both Adam and Rebekah get intoxicated with power.
The Real “WeCrashed”
We Work was once considered as the next big thing. However, some shocking revelations were made and it was found out that the company had missed out on paying millions of dollars of rent and was sued for sued for a whopping $37 million. it was around this time that, the founder Adam Neumann resigned from the company
The series, directed by John Requa and Glen Ficarra and produced by the two directors along with Charlie Gogolak, actress Anne Hathaway and Natalie Sandy will release it’s first three episodes on March 18 and the rest of the episodes will follow throughout the month of April.
