Thursday night was a blast from the past for the people who have grown up watching Disney channel. They were hit by a major wave of nostalgia when ABC arranged a Disney Family Singalong for the fans. It was starry night. The mini extravaganza had Demi Lovato, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera, a total Hall of Fame!
Vanessa Hudgens also performed “We’re All in this Together” from High School Musical. However, the 31-year-old actress’ performance reminded some of her fans about the controversial comment that she made last month about Coronavirus. Her fandom didn’t quite appreciate her selection of words when she remarked on her Instagram live, “It’s a virus, I get it. Like, I respect it. But at the same time, like, even if everybody gets it, like, yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible but, like, inevitable?”

Some actually thought that Vanessa didn’t realise the gravity of the situation. However, the actress knows how to make amends. She lived streamed again on Instagram the very next day apologising for her comment. Hudgens also twitted, “I realize my words were insensitive and not at all appropriate for the situation our country and the world are in right now. This has been a huge wake-up call about the significance my words have.”
I bet the families of people who died of the Coronavirus were very excited to see Vanessa Hudgens on this. #DisneyFamilySingalong

People had a lot to say about Vanessa’s appearance after that event.
“This Disney sing along was great until Vanessa Hudgens showed up. Do we not forget the ignorance of her IG a few weeks ago.
Also where is zac effron?”, tweeted a fan.
