Demon Slayer just finished off its first season in 2019, and many fans have called it one of the best animes of 2019.
The anime has a lot of action and fight sequences, the story is emotionally driven, there are a ton of interesting characters and the series also has an amazing soundtrack. These things will certainly have the viewers glued to their seats till the last episode.
Demon Slayer tells the story of a boy named Tanjiro. His entire family is slaughtered by a demon, except his sister Nezuko who has been transformed into a demon herself. But, unlike most demons, Nezuko can calm her bloodlust and live along with others.
With his sister by his side, Tanjiro sets off to discover a way to change his sister back into a human and he must find and defeat Musan Kibutsuji who is behind the creation of all the demons.
Demon Slayer Movie Update and Plot
Instead of a season 2, a movie was confirmed right after the end of season 1. The movie will pick up right after season 1 and will follow Tanjiro’s quest to reach Musan Kibutsuji. The Demon Train Arc is the seventh arc of Kimetsu no Yaiba and will be the central plot for the movie named Demon Slayer: Infinite Train. Here are a few people behind the movie: –

When will Season 2 come out?
Demon Slayer writer Koyoharu Gotōge is working on publishing more chapters of the manga. With 200 chapters released till now, there will be enough content that can be used for the continuation of the series in the foreseeable future. The movie is set to release in 2020, and we can expect the anime to release in the initial months of 2021.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Plot (Warning: Spoilers Ahead)
If you have read the manga, you should pretty much know what will season 2 be about. Not revealing much we will skip right to the end and talk a bit about the ending.
So, Tanjiro finally faces Musan, and in their epic fight, Tanjiro is killed. Yes, you read it right! Tanjiro is killed, but like his sister Nezuko, he is turned into a demon as well. And from what we have seen, Demon King: Tanjiro looks pretty sick, to be honest. The ending will be insane and we cannot wait to see season 2 out soon.
