UFC figher Paige VanZant’s Autobiagraphy, Reveals about her gang rape and how she recovered

UFC fighter Paige VanZant has declared openly in her autobiography that when she was only 14 years, she was gang-raped by students from her high school.

She courageously uncovered this sexual invasion in her Autobiography-“Rise: Surviving the Fight of My Life”. This book also discloses various aspects and struggle in the life of the lady fighter.

24-year-old martial art champion conveyed that the student who assaulted her spread that the sex was consensual. She said she had been taunted after rape but become more drastic when rumors scattered.

She was born Paige Sletten but altered her title after students started calling her Paige Slutton. Rumors began dispersing around the school that she slept with 4 guys on the same night, provoking her to officially rewrite her name to Paige VanZant.

Recently Paige VanZant stands in the news due to her crude photos with her husband on Instagram during the Quarantine period. She is one of the most established UFC fighters in the world. She is also a prominent face of the reality show. She came second on the American version of Strictly Come Dancing and came first in a reality cooking show on U.S T.V. Paige also has a massive fan following with 2.4 million followers on Instagram.

Paige during the launch of the book said- I want to release this book because I favor anti-bullying. She also said that the toughest aspect for her was the tormentors which actually sunk her lower. Paige also illustrated her attempted suicide in the book, saying that the terrible events of Halloween 2008 drove her to ingest a full bottle of drugs.

Paige VanZant while speaking during the launch of the book- “Just so I got to say it one time — I said exactly what I wanted to say to a person, they wrote it down then I never had to see at it again,” VanZant said. “So, it was me voicing everything that happened and I just got it out in the open and I never had to look at it again. It was one among those things where I tell the story and advance.”

The UFC fighter is currently spending quality time with husband Austin Vanderford during the quarantine. The incident is way behind her now.
