Crisis on Infinite Earth‘s creators haven’t left any stones unturned to please the fans. While filming of the grand Arrowverse crossover is still on, there have been rumors of spotting Lucifer star Tom Ellis on the sets of Crisis on Infinite Earths in Vancouver.
Tom Ellis was spotted shooting a scene on the sets in his Lucifer Morningstar costume with David Ramsey (John Diggle) of Arrow, Katherine McNamara (Mia Smoak) and Matt Ryan (John Constantine) of Legends of Tomorrow.
As Ellis and Matt Ryan (Lucifer Morningstar and John Constantine, respectively), both play characters of the Vertigo side of the DC Universe, it will be fitting to see both of them come together. There are also chances that Lucifer and Constantine, may know each other well enough since Ryan’s occult detective has been known to visit hell on the occasion.
Unlike what you probably expect, the literal devil is not necessarily the first DC protagonist who would join hands with a bunch of superheroes to save the world. Whereas Ellis’ version does work with the police to solve murders, so it’s not that much of a leap.
It was just yesterday that we took our first look at 1960s Batman star Burt Ward on set, who might portray as the older version of Dick Grayson. On the other hand, another sneak peek, teased the return to Lian Yu with at least one Easter egg providing a nod to Michael Keaton’s Dark Knight. The set pic to beat though is probably the big team-up photo featuring many Arrowverse regulars on board the Waverider – including two Supermen, Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh.
It is definitely going to be fun to witness so many different DC franchises in the Arrowverse Sphere of the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
