‘The Wheel of Time’ Undergoing Major Cast Changes! Barney Harris not Returning for Season 2

The Wheel of Time is going through some changes know the reason why

Recently, we got the information of change that Donal Finn from The Witcher has been looking forward to portraying Mat Cauthon by replacing Barney Harris. However, we still don’t know the reason for this change. Barney Harris did a good job in season 1 and fans were looking forward to seeing him in season 2 as well.

What else is changing in season 2?

The Wheel of Time is a series adapted from Robert Jordan’s books. It is an expansive and world-building drama series. As per DEADLINE, The Wheel of Time has been renewed for season 2 in May. Meanwhile, the shooting of season 2 is still under the go.

However, the concept of the whole series is quite interesting. Therefore the magic in this world is full of mysteries and only a few women are able to access it. However, we have Pike who is a very powerful character and she rules the very powerful organization called the Aes Sedai. She goes forward in this journey with five young men and women.

Meanwhile, one of her team members is supposed to be Dragon Reborn. This dragon is destined to destroy humanity. Mat Cauthon is one of the five who will lead Moiraine, this is one of the main characters according to the book. They have also released the teaser for season 2.

Rafe Judkins, Larry Mondragon, and Rick Selvage of the Red Entertainment are the producers and showrunners of the show. Meanwhile, Ted Feild and Mike Weber of Radar Pictures, Darren Lemke, Uta Breieswitz, and Marigo Kehoe are the executive producers of the show. The Wheel of Time is co-produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television.
