The Society: The Season 2 is Already on Cards for the Teen Drama, But When will the Show be Ready for the Release? Let’s Find Out.

The Society is undisputedly Netflix’s best Young Adult drama right now. Hence it’s no surprise that the streaming giant has renewed it for season two. While viewers eagerly wait to know about the mysterious world of New Ham, there are a lot of fan theories and inside gossip on what to expect when season two goes on floor.

“The society” is an American mystery teen drama series by Christopher Keyser. Season 1 of the hit show was premiered on Netflix on May 10, 2019.

 

Season 1 of ‘The Society’ had an immensely gripping storyline wherein, a group of teenagers have to build up a civilization from scratch, after the rest of the population vanishes from their area. They are cut off from the rest of the world and are overcome with challenges of survival. However, as soon as fans finished binge-watching the series, the internet was taken by all the questions and speculations about “The New Ham.”

It also turns out that only creator Christopher Keyser knows the answers to the many questions regarding the next season. The viewers along with the cast are in the dark regarding all the mysteries that are yet to be solved. The cast being just as clueless as the fans, started sharing their theories as to what happens to the kids.

The cast of The Society announced in July that the show had been renewed for Season 2 in a video posted online. In the video, they promised that the new episodes will answer all questions regarding the show’s mysteries.The clip also revealed that the second season of the hit show would be coming in 2020, with production set to resume in late 2019.

While Netflix hasn’t yet made an official announcement regarding the cast list for Season 2, fans can safely predict that they’ll be seeing all of their favorite characters in the upcoming season. Season 2 is expected to see the returns of Kathryn Newton (Allie), Jacques Colimon (Will), Toby Wallace (Campbell), Gideon Adlon (Becca), Sean Berdy (Sam) among many others.
