As the Oscars recently happened, many good films and the best actors are awarded. The predictions were already Joker will have a real chance to take away many awards. The genre doesn’t sweep the Oscars; then, there are many other films from Si-Fi, Horror, Superhero films that many take the awards of Razzies.
What is Razzies?
The Razzies or The Golden Raspberry Awards is a parody award that honors the worst cinematography or underrated film. This sounds cool as if you are not able to win Oscars; then, there are great chances to win Razzies. The Razzies are generally regarded as the walk of shame. There is a great transition from various musicians to actors who won this award. The highest number of awards is won by musicians for the worst music.
This definitely depends on the audience in which the film was not good at the taste, cinematography, or direction. And this year the clear winner was Cats, The fanatic, The Haunting of Sharon Tate.
Who won the Razzies?
The Card who received the award for worst film, worst actress, worst supporting actress, worst supporting actor, worst screen combo, worst director and screenplay.
“Hellboy” received the honor for various categories that belong to the worst actor or David Harbour for his worst actor handshake. This film also nominated for the worst director and screenplay.
The Haunting of Sharon Tate also receives award for worst actress given to Hilary Duff with the worst screenplay.
Criticism
Though Razzies recorded criticism from various news sources, including newspaper “The Daily Telegraph.” The Razzies were always around criticism as they do not give awards to the worst film but to the most infamous movie of the year. The movie has less budget, and people are not much aware of those films. This award is going to fail as they train their sights on the most obvious targets.
