The Production of “Blood & Treasure” was Halted due to Pandemic but the Show is Set to Return Soon

The show had been delayed due to the pandemic but is expected to arrive next year

Blood & Treasure is an American action-adventure drama series that premiered on CBS. The series was inspired by popular movies of the treasure hunting genre such as Indiana Jones and National Treasure, and hence contains numerous exhilarating action-packed moments, as well as bits of drama and humour. It was created by Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia.

The lead characters are two contrasting personalities – one being an expert on antiquities as well as a former FBI agent and the other being a cunning art burglar. The two form an unlikely alliance to catch a terrorist named Karim Farouk who steals priceless art to fund his terrorist activities. To catch this person, they have to travel across multiple countries, without knowing that they are setting off a two thousand-year-old battle for the cradle of civilization.
