The couple, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are planning to transform a large piece of old property in Macedon into a music paradise of all sorts. The property at the Route 31, east of Wayneport Road would be transformed into a performing arts center and recording studio by the new partners at the Times of Wayne Country.
The property was built in the early 1960s as the Kordite Technical Centre before becoming the Exxon Mobil Centre. Later on handed over the ownership of the property to Jindal Films Company, headquartered in India.
Grammy-winning singer Alicia Keys and her husband, producer Swizz Beatz would further reshape the property as they want it to be. According to the Times, the property is a 110 acres property comprising of three buildings and space of 200,000 square foot in each of the buildings. The main structure would be renovated into classrooms, a cafeteria and office space and that would be used to educate the musicians about the business side of the music and art industry and would create much and more opportunities.
The old factory in the property would be converted into the art center, large gym, and trading area for the artists and musicians.
The deal is to be closed by the end of the next two upcoming weeks while no price has been fixed for the same. The couple would certainly visit the property within a period of time. The representatives of the Keys joined into a meeting to discuss the property assessment.
Keys has won 5 Grammy awards since her hit song “Fallin.” Beatz is a hip-hop and R&B producer and has collaborated with Jay Z, Beyonce, DMX and Kanye West. Keys and Beatz got married in 2010 while some of the people did not believe the news about the change that is going to take place in their area.
